What is Single Layer BOM felt

Single Layer BOM Felt is made up of single base layer mesh fabric and fiber layer. Base layer is woven from synthetic mono-filament or multi-filament. The structure is designed base on different paper machines, press types and different papers. The fiber layer is consisted of different laps of fiber web and different diameter of fiber for the best trainability and fiber support index. It has good quality properties such as less elongation, easy to wash, no-mark on paper, long life performance and can be used in various paper machines to produce different kinds of paper.

Structure

BOM Felt is composed of bottom net layer and fiber layer. The bottom mesh layer is made of monofilament, monofilament and multifilament composite chemical fiber materials. The single layer, double layer, multi-layer (1 + 1, 1 + 2, 2 + 2) and other organizational structures are made by using different weaving technologies; the common synthetic fibers in the fiber layer mainly include nylon staple fiber, polyester staple fiber and other fiber raw materials; the staple fibers with the same or different thickness are laid in layers on the bottom net, and then The bottom mesh layer and fiber layer are processed by needling, heat setting and other special post finishing processes to make BOM felt.

 

Function

1.Water filtering function:As a dehyd ration medium, when the paper sheet is dehydrated in the vacuum box and press area, the paper blanket absorbs and filters out the water from the paper sheet.
2. Leveling effect:In the process of web transfer and dehydration, it can smooth and modify the paper surface.
3. Function of conveyor belt:The paper is transferred from the net part to the drying shaft through the pressing part, and the passive roller and net cage are driven to run.
