Headbox is the key part of modern paper machine. Its structure and properties play a decisive role in the formation and quality of paper. Generally, headbox is composed of three main parts: distributor (pulp distribution device), weir basin (pulp rectifying device) and weir plate (grid device).
 

 

Application

1.Headbox is used for sizing in fourdrinier wire section of paper making machine for producing cardboard paper, corrugated base paper, writing and printing paper, offset paper and so on.

2.Applicable speed range: 160-480m/min

Features

1.The speed of the web pulp can be adjusted by the air pressure above the pulp surface in the compressed air conditioning box (the pulp level remains unchanged, and the appropriate pulp head can be obtained by changing the air cushion head).
2.Using square cone tube and porous plate as the distributor, flat bottomed weir pool has low slurry level and fast flow rate.

3.Using two homogenate mixture as rectifying element, the homogenizer wheel at the outlet of orifice plate mainly acts as energy dissipation and rectification of jet flow from orifice plate, while the homogenizer rod in front of convergence zone of weir plate mainly acts as rectification.
4.Equipped with a front wall overflow device to stabilize slurry position and remove foam.
5.Combined lip plate was used.
