Paper making machine heat transfer steam rotary joint
Rotating Unions and Rotary Joints (also known as rotary swivels, rotary couplings) are precision mechanical devices used to transfer fluid from a stationary source, such as a supply pipe, into a rotating piece of machinery. Rotating Unions and Rotary Joints are used in numerous manufacturing processes to cool, heat, or transfer fluid (pneumatic or hydraulic) power.
Function
The fluid medium transport pipeline and rotation, reciprocating movement or swing (rotation) move some angle of equipment connected, not only to ensure the continuous flow of equipment, pipeline transfer fluid, but also to prevent the fluid medium collusion, leakage and external debris into the working medium.
Rotary joint is a non-functional part of the machine, but its function has a great impact on the whole machine equipment and the whole factory.

Application
It is necessary to apply the indispensable dryer with heat exchange function in papermaking, textile, chemical fiber and other industries. Multiple drying cylinders are contacted in sequence according to the process requirements, so that the coating (or paper) close to the surface of the drying cylinder can exchange heat between the drying cylinders.
Under normal circumstances, the heat exchange medium (such as steam) is introduced through the rotary joint installed at the end of the shaft neck of the drying cylinder. After heat conduction, it condenses on the inner wall of the drying cylinder, and the condensate is discharged through the siphon inner pipe (or the joint at the other end) of the same rotary joint.
