The dryer cylinder for paper machine is a key part of paper drying, which is class I pressure vessel. The number of dryer cylinder accounts for about 2 / 3 of the total pressure vessels in the paper industry. Generally, the materials used for drying cylinder are HT200 and HT250. In order to increase the smoothness of paper surface, the outer surface of the dryer should be polished and the inner surface should be polished to keep the thickness of the whole dryer wall consistent, so as to ensure the safety, balance and uniform heat transfer of the dryer. The function of the dryer is to dry the moisture in the paper and finish the paper surface.
The saturated steam from the steam joint condenses in the dryer, and the heat released makes the temperature of the dryer rise, thus heating the paper coated on the surface of the roller shell. Heat is transferred to the paper in contact with the surface of the dryer.
The steam releases heat and condenses to produce a large amount of condensate water, which is attached to the inner surface of the dryer by centrifugal force due to the rotation of the dryer, and forms a water ring under the condition of high angular velocity, which hinders the heat transfer to the surface of the dryer. Therefore, the siphon is needed to discharge the condensate water in time. When the speed is low, there will be no water ring, but there will be condensation water splashing and accumulating in the dryer.

4.The metal coating of surface can reinforce the chemical coating and wrinkling.
5.No bolts heads to block,can improve the papers stable performance.
6.During operating,the shell thickness is reduced and the metal coating is fall off,which not affects the using performance.
7.Since the date of installing can be put into operating,don't need to run-in with the host,its performance will not reduce as the service life is growing.
The drying cylinder is a hollow cylinder made of cast iron with covers at both ends. It is composed of cylinder block and cylinder heads at both ends. Its outer diameter is mostly 1000-3000mm. During operation, steam is used to dry and iron the transported paper.
