There are many reasons for felt damage and lint loss, the main two of which are scratches on machine parts and chemical damage.
1. The most common reason is that the surface of the press is torn loose by high-pressure water.
2. There is a lack of lubricating water between the vacuum panel and the blanket, causing the temperature to rise and the fibers to be damaged.
3. The material of the vacuum suction cover is not good, the friction coefficient is large, there are burrs or sharp blades on the edges and seams of the cover, the edges are not rounded, the wrapping angle between the vacuum box and the rubber cloth is too large, the vacuum degree is high, and the local surface is uneven. Unevenness, exposed fixing screws, etc. will cause the rubber cloth to wear.
4. There are burrs on the surface of the roller, iron molds, roll surface coating, or the expansion roller rubber wire frame is too high or has obvious edges and corners, there are no sharp edges between the eight openings and the rubber roller body, or the high and low transition areas are too high. Any short time will easily cause the rubber cloth to wear.

1. For paper machines, especially medium-speed or high-speed paper machines, the rational use of lubricating water is not only beneficial to the cleanliness of the blanket, but also creates a water film between the vacuum panel and the blanket, which plays a role in lubrication, sealing and cooling. effect.
2. The gap between the two vacuum panels should be made of the same material as the panel material or a material with lower wear resistance than the panel material. Add an appropriate amount of lubricating water from the outside of the vacuum zone from dense to sparse.
3. The surface of all rollers should be smooth, burr-free, and rust-free. Copper rollers, stainless steel rollers, and rubber rollers can be used.
4. There is a speed difference between relevant transmission points, causing friction and wear of the rubber cloth. Correctly adjust the speed ratio of each transmission point to avoid abnormal speed differences.
