Application

Coating machine is mainly used for boxboard, kraft paper, corrugated paper, grey board, yellow board and other packaging, single and double-sided coating, adapted to the paper ration of 100-500g/m2 a variety of raw paper.

Working Principle

Coating machine needs to glue or ink substances uniformly attached to the surface of the paper, the coating process requirements are relatively high, not only requires a high degree of uniformity in the coating and to be able to achieve high speed without stopping to change the roll in order to improve production efficiency.

Coating process mainly consists of: uncoiling - coating - drying - haul-off - winding five parts, of which The most important is the coating process. One of the advantages of the squeegee coater is that it does not require as soft a coating as the air knife, because the metal squeegee can scrape off harder coatings, which allows the use of highly concentrated coatings and therefore reduces the steam tray required for drying, and also greatly improves the speed of coating.
