Felt is integral in the paper making process. High top felt undergoes strict quality control to ensure the quality of the paper. felt are important because of their dewatering ability allowing wet paper to easily be transferred to the forming section without blemishing the paper web.

Installation precautions
The front side of the press felt is the sizing surface, there are running direction arrows on it. After installation,wash it with hot water (50-60 degrees is appropriate),and add 5-10% of hydroxide or detergent to clean it for 15-20 minutes,then make it idle(the idle time depends on actual situation,generally in 2-3 hours), until the felt become soft enough.
Do not put too much strain when use it in the beginning, also the speed can not be too fast. Make the new felt work slowly for the first two to three hours and keep the test speed between 70-80. 24 hours later, push the speed up to 90-100 meters per minute, 36 hours later, push it to 100-130 meters, finally change the machine to full-speed operation. After a week of use,the cloth must be cleaned once, which is conducive to our product.
