The forming fabric is an important equipment on paper machine. It is a device for forming and dehydrating the paper sheet on the paper machine. It dehydrates the pulp suspension from the headbox and runs the web to the follow-up section.
Polyester forming net is commonly used in paper machine forming part. In the past, copper mesh was mostly used, and polyester forming mesh was mainly woven by polyester monofilament. In order to increase the service life of the formed mesh, some manufacturers added nylon monofilament with better wear resistance in the weft line interval.

Classification and Application

Polyester forming fabric according to the weaving series division,can be divided into eight types:
(1) 4-Shed single layer fabric:It is suitable for making culture paper, printing paper and packaging paper.
(2) 5-Shed single layer fabric:It is suitable for making toilet paper, culture paper and packaging paper.
(3) 8-Shed single layer fabric:It is suitable for making sack paper, kraft paper, vermicelli, corrugated paper, box board paper and so on.
(4) 7-Shed double layer fabric:It is suitable for making high grade printing paper, tissue paper, etc.
(5) 8-Shed double and half layer fabric:It is suitable for making high-grade printing paper, offset printing paper, tissue paper and surface pulp and lining pulp of board paper.
(6) 16-Shed double and half layer fabric:It is suitable for high speed papermaking machine, production of various types of paper.
(7) Three layer fabric:It is suitable for high speed papermaking machine, production of various types of paper.
