This instrument is designed to test the strength performance of paper and cardboard, mainly suitable for testing the burst strength of various types of cardboard and single-layer and multi-layer corrugated cardboard.

Working Principle

In the sealed oil cylinder and paper holder chamber of the instrument, methyl silicone oil is filled as the medium for pressure transmission. When the motor drives the piston to move forward at a constant speed, the rubber film is pressurized by the silicone oil and protrudes. At this time, the sample clamped above the rubber film and fixed by the upper and lower clamping discs is uniformly stressed until the sample ruptures. The processing chip locks the maximum pressure value, which is displayed on the LCD screen. This pressure value is the burst resistance of the sample.
