Polyester forming Fabric is commonly used in paper machine forming part. In the past, copper mesh was mostly used, and polyester forming mesh was mainly woven by polyester monofilament. In order to increase the service life of the formed mesh, some manufacturers added nylon monofilament with better wear resistance in the weft line interval.
The forming fabric is an important equipment on paper machine. It is a device for forming and dehydrating the paper sheet on the paper machine. It dehydrates the pulp suspension from the headbox and runs the web to the follow-up section.

Principle and Classification

Principle
A sheet of paper begins in the forming section, where a mixture of 99% water and 1% cellulose fiber is introduced evenly across a forming fabric, which acts as both a sheet conveyor and a dewatering device. It is here that the paper sheet is formed and the initial water removal occurs. As the fabric moves, water drains through it, while the fibers and fillers that form the sheet remain on top. Today, forming fabrics have an average operating life of 45 to 60 days.

Classification
Polyester molding network according to the weaving series division, can be divided into four mechanized single-layer wire,five kinds of single-layer wire, eight kinds of single-layer wire, seven kinds of double wire, eight kinds of double wire,sixteen in two and a half and three layer wire series.
