Product Description

Forming fabric is an important component on the paper machine, promoting the paper forming and dewatering. It  dewaters the pulp flow from the lip of the headbox, and run the wet paper web to the subsequent section.  
A single layer forming fabric has the simplest weave pattern. It is composed by one CD yarn and one MD yarn system.

Structure

 

As the simplest forming fabrics, the single layer polyester forming fabric includes four different forms:

1. 4-shed (one up and three down) : Mainly used for various paper machines.
2. 5-shed (one up and four down) : Mainly used to produce all kinds of kraft paper, tissue paper, writing paper,        printing paper, etc.

3. 8-shed series single-layer fabric is suitable for making paper bag paper, kraft paper, liner board, corrugated paper, cardboard paper, etc.

Advantages

Single layer forming fabric is resistant to abrasion and therefore has a long service life. It is light in weight and easier to transport.
Single layer forming fabric is suitable for low-speed paper machines and its molding quality is good. Depending on the weaving width, single layer forming fabric is used for the production of kraft paper, tissue paper, writing paper and printing paper.
