Cylinder mould is the main part in cylinder paper machine, it is used for the first set of finishing equipment behind the paper machine. It can be said to be the heart of a machine used for manufacturing paper and board and is responsible for controlling the stick flow and picking up onto the felt and also for formation of a homogeneous single and multi layer and profile of the substance fully across the web.
Classification
Winding type: 1.Slice being welded on every rod andslice infall. 2.Winding type cylindeld is widely beingused as its high stability and long service lifecompared to string chip type.
String chip type: Rod goes through the slice.

3. Each wheel has been accurately measured to avoid the phenomenon of heavy cylinder mould, to reduce the friction on the felt and wire and reduce manufacturing cost.

6. Strength is higher than the ordinary cylinder mould, impact resistance, reduce the cylinder mould repair rate.
7. High flatness of the mesh, increase the drainage area, increase production, improve the quality of paper.
Common problemes and causes
Sometimes the fixed copper fabric is loose in one direction,usually during paper machine production, the looseness is less present, it needs regular inspection and maintenance.
In thepulp production process, it happens frequently that resin, asphalt and other impurities block the wire mesh, which leads to decline of filtering ability of copper network ,and make it difficult for paper making machine tooperate.
If the speed of the press felt and the the cylinder mould are not the same during operation, the net will wrinkle.
