The pressure screen is one of the most important equipment in the pulping process.
Pressure screen is mainly used for making the screen before the paper machine of paper making industry of pulp equipment.It can also be regard as the precise sieve of pulp making system,It has the advantage of great quantity,low pulse,not easy to stop,low energy consumption and having long performance life.

It can be used as a screening equipment of paper stock before paper machine.it can also be used as a fine screening in pulp production system.The pressure screen adopts the upward flow structure design of bottom into pulp, heavy slag out from bottom, light slag out from top, the light impurities and air in pulp will naturally rise to the top out slag mouth, and the heavy impurities will settle down to the bottom out as soon as they enter the body.

Used for screening waste paper stock.
The purpose of screening is to separate contiminants such as shives in mechanical pulp,and stickies,plastics,sand,metal pieces,and flakes in recycled fiber.

principle

The pressure screen operates at all times under a positive pressure in the screen interior which may be of the order of 4 to 20 psi.Both accepts and rejects are discharged under pressure. The essential requirement is to avoid contact with air during the screening process and this avoids the generation of foam in the liquid medium.
