Sun Hong Paper Machiney -- Air Bellow

Air bellows are installed in various sections of the paper machine. They are composed of a flexible rubber elastomer body reinforced with nylon cord, plus rust-resistant end plates equipped with an air valve and mounting nuts. These rubber bellows can serve as both vibration isolators and pneumatic actuators. The air springs can absorb up to 99% of harmful vibrations, preventing damage to the machinery and metal structures, while also effectively lowering noise levels.

Application of Air Bellow

Air springs are widely used as an edge control system to align the fabric that carries the paper sheet. They also provide proper tension to the web that transports the paper. In addition, they function as a pressing device to help remove moisture from the paper by working with the rollers in the paper machine.
