The Hydraulic Headbox

Headbox is the key of paper machine,the function is supplying uniform and steady pulp flow to paper machine wire part. Different pulp, different machine speed, different flow the design of headbox is different. 
The hydraulic headbox is suitable for paper machines with a speed of 300-750m / min and less than 1760-5500. The slurry flows through a group of tube bundles with small diameter and step change from the conical slurry distribution main pipe and enters the slurry stabilization chamber. There is an attenuation chamber above the slurry stabilization chamber. It has air cushion and spray device to eliminate bubbles and reduce pressure pulse and leave overflow outlet. The slurry under constant pressure flows through the turbulence generator from the slurry stabilization chamber. Reach the weir plate on the convergence channel.

How to choose

Requirements for good headbox
1. The paper material can be evenly distributed along the banner and longitudinal direction of the paper machine. It is required that the pressure, flow and flow rate of the paper material sprayed onto the net after leaving the nozzle after passing through the headbox shall be balanced and consistent, the flow shall be stable without fluctuation, the full width shall be uniform and consistent, and there shall be no cross flow and large eddy current.
2. It can effectively disperse fibers and prevent flocculation. It is required that the web paper material must be a uniformly dispersed fiber suspension, with uniform concentration distribution, and can maintain the non directional arrangement of fibers in the paper material flow.
3. It can ensure to provide stable web paper speed according to process requirements.
