Product Description

Press roll is the main spare parts of paper machine,which mainly used on press section. It can be divided into vacuum press roll, blind hole press roll, groove press roll ,stone press roll and rubber press roll. Choose the right press roll is very important for paper mill.

Classification

Vacuum suction press roll is mostly used in medium and high speed paper machines to remove water and shape paper. The upper roller of vacuum press is stone roller, and the lower roller is vacuum roller.

 

The structure of groove press roll is stone roller and rubber roller. The spiral grooves with width of 0.5-0.6 mm, depth of 1.0-3.5 mm and groove distance of about 3.0-3.6 mm are cut out on the rubber layer of the cot with alloy steel knife.

 

Blind hole press roller is another improved press roller developed on the basis of grooved roller in the 1970s. Blind hole press roller is also in the iron core roll rubber or polyurethane. Application

The main function of the press section of a paper machine is to reduce the moisture content of the web by mechanical extrusion and improve the dryness of the web when it enters the drying section. The dewatering of the press section should be uniform along the width of the web. When the paper sheet is partially over dry or wet, it will produce the phenomenon that the local part of the web is too dry and crushed.Groove press roll was developed on the basis of extensive research on the mechanism of press dehydration in 1960s.
