The Forming Fabric is a device for paper forming and dewatering on the paper machine.
It dehydrates the pulp suspension from the headbox and runs the paper web to the subsequent section. In the past, copper mesh was mostly used, but now polyester molding mesh is mostly used, which is mainly woven from polyester monofilament. In order to increase the service life, some manufacturers add nylon monofilament weaving with better wear resistance in the middle of weft.

Problem:
The mesh edge is worn too fast.
Solutions:
1. Try to increase the staggered width of vacuum box openings in turn.
2. Add normal pressure lubricating water to the edge of the vacuum box.
3. Apply stiffeners at appropriate positions.
4. Check whether the edge wiper plate and vacuum box have edges or gaps. In particular, the joint of the ceramic panel is a weak link.
5. Check whether the edge of each roll is seriously worn (the diameter becomes thinner after wear, so that the tension of the mesh is smaller than that of the normal mesh surface, further accelerating the wear)
Forming fabric is used for fourdriner wire machine ,according to the different weave ways used for different speeds of paper machine,including: single layer forming mesh belt,one and half layers forming mesh belt ,two layers forming mesh belt ,two and half layers forming mesh belt ,three layers forming mesh belt .
