Product Description:
Seam felts are durable products that pass through roller presses with the paper, removing moisture from the wet paper web by absorbing it without damaging the paper. In the press section of the paper machine, water is removed from the newly formed paper.Compared with ordinary press felt, seamed press felt are safer to use. Seamed press felt do not need to move any rollers or fix support devices, avoiding potential hidden dangers during replacement.
Type:
Single seam pressed felt
Seam felt is very popular among paper mills' choices. The seamed version has the most efficient twist in the base fabric and a single loop in the engineered seam area. The rimless design provides greater flexibility and easier installation, resulting in safer operation.
Double stitched felt
The seam unit includes two layers of warp threads and a seam ring. The two layers of warp threads are woven on the weft threads respectively. At least part of the warp threads of one layer of the two layers of warp threads pass through the seam ring and form another layer with the warp threads of the other layer of warp threads. warp;
The joint units are connected together through their respective joint rings. The joint rings connected by the two are arranged in sequence along the weft direction to form two common holes. Core wires for joints are respectively inserted into the two common holes.

1. Place the seamed felt into the press section (confirm that the blue arrow direction of the seamed felt is consistent with the PM running direction)
2. Pull down the zipper
3. Run a small steel pipe (clean) or similar shaft through the inside of the seam felt roll
4. Cut off the existing felt on the PM
5. Cut some felt strips from other old felts or prepare some ropes
6. Use cut felt strips or ropes to connect the existing felt on the PM with the seam felt (small pieces)
7. Pull the existing felt on the PM to install the seam felt to the paper machine.
8. Take the existing old felt.
Precautions:
1. Sew more if necessary. The shorter the thread and the higher the thread density, the better.
2. The sewing thread is easily worn when the PM is running, so it needs to be observed and inspected. And re-stitch so that it maintains sufficient strength when the PM is closed.
