a.Breast roll is a large-diameter, hard rubber-coated rotating roller located at the headbox weir. The breast roller has a certain dehydration effect, and the size of the dehydration effect depends on the position of the impact point of the sprayed paper material from the lip of the headbox.
b.Breast roll is the first roller in the fourdrinier section. It is driven by the mesh and must have sufficient stiffness to not deflect under the tension of the mesh.
c.Breast roll is generally a flat roller with a smooth surface. A rough surface or burrs will damage the mesh. It should be inspected regularly and replaced according to its surface condition.

a.Breast roll is generally equipped with a scraper, so that the pulp block will not follow the roller and be sandwiched between the roller and the mesh; the back of the scraper is equipped with an extension plate to guide the white water removed through the mesh into the first white water tray , it can prevent the white water from falling on the return net before the net goes around the breast roller, causing "flooding" of the net or causing the fibers in the white water to block the mesh.
b.There is often a moist water pipe near the breast roller. In newsprint machines using deblackened pulp or pulp with high resin content, it can prevent the web from being smeared by ink and resin.

What to do when bubbles and bubbles appear
Phenomenon: When the paper sheet is inspected against the light, there are light-transmitting or opaque homogeneous spots. The acceptance of printing ink is uneven and consistent, affecting printing. For cardboard, delamination is easy to occur.
Reasons for delamination: The main reason is that there is free air in the paper page, which exists in the form of bubbles. After being surfed, it bursts in the vacuum box, causing the paper page to have inconsistent evenness.
Solution: You can make the pulp flow stable by fully washing the paper stock and adjusting the relative positions of the weir plate, breast roller and forming plate. Install plastic film pads on the slurry surface in front of the last two table rollers to eliminate air bubbles on the slurry surface.
