Multi Disc Filter

The multi disc filter is mainly used for the self water recovery generated during the paper making process of paper machines and the concentration of pulp during the pulping process.

Structure

The disc shaft installed on the groove body consists of a hollow shaft and several discs fixed on the hollow shaft. Each disc is composed of several sector plates, which are connected to the hollow shaft by bolts. The partition of the distribution valve corresponds to the cavity of the main shaft, forming a filtrate passage.

Gravity Disc Thickener

Gravity Thickener is used in the pulp making process to improve the quality of the pulp by removing the excess water and solidifying the pulp. The gravity thickener is very important in the dewatering process for the concentration of sludge. The gravity thickener works on the principle of gravitational force by which the solid sludge is settled at the bottom of the sedimentation tank thus isolating the solid from the liquid.
Gravity thickener is the best option for small quantity or limited stock preparation requirements.
